The talks focused on the development of trade and investment relations, as well as support for and expansion of partnerships between Ukrainian and Emirati companies. Particular attention was given to the further work of the UAE–Ukrainian Business Council — a platform intended to become the principal venue for interaction between the two business communities.

The Secretary-General of the Federation emphasized the importance of bringing economic relations to a level that meets the expectations of businesses in both countries. According to him, the Federation, through the business community, is working to strengthen partnerships between companies in order to increase trade volumes and open new opportunities for cooperation.

The Emirati side confirmed its readiness to support the expansion of cooperation, the exchange of expertise, and the implementation of best practices in key sectors of the economy.

Ukraine Month in the UAE

The participants also discussed preparations for a large-scale cultural and economic initiative — Ukraine Month in the UAE. The initiative предусматриє a series of events aimed at presenting Ukrainian culture, business, and innovation within leading Emirati institutions.

The Federation of UAE Chambers of Commerce and Industry unites the business communities of all seven emirates and traditionally plays a key role in establishing economic ties with other countries. The meeting with the Ukrainian side is part of broader efforts by both states to deepen trade and investment dialogue, which has become particularly active in recent years.
