Ukrainian airline SkyUp has opened ticket sales for flights from Chisinau to Dubai. The first flight is scheduled for 20 December 2026, and the programme will run until 28 March 2027, the airline said.

Flights will operate from Chisinau International Airport to Dubai International (DXB). There will initially be two flights a week, on Sundays (from 20 December) and Tuesdays (from 22 December), with Fridays added from 8 January.

Promotional one-way fares start at €161, including airport charges. The offer runs from 6 October to 4 November, and the number of seats at that price is limited.

The flights will be operated by SkyUp’s Moldovan subsidiary, Sky Up Nistru, FlightGlobal reported. SkyUp also announced flights from Chisinau to London Stansted, starting on 26 March 2027 and operating twice a week.

Why Chisinau

Ukraine’s airspace has been closed to civilian aviation since February 2022, so Ukrainian carriers operate through subsidiaries in Moldova and Malta. For many people in southern and western Ukraine, Chisinau has become the nearest airport reachable by land. For Ukrainians travelling to or living in the UAE, the new route is a convenient alternative to connections via Warsaw, Krakow or Bucharest.
