Middle East Organic & Natural Products Expo, a trade show for organic food, natural cosmetics and wellness products, takes place in Dubai on 16–18 November. Its organiser, Dubai-based GL Exhibition, calls it the only specialised trade show of its kind in the region. Last year, according to the organiser, it had more than 500 exhibitors and over 21 national pavilions, and 17,784 people visited.

What’s on
The show is divided into five areas: food and beverage, beauty, health and wellness, agriculture and environment, and sustainable living. Separate pavilions cover tea and coffee, halal products and new products, and there is a demonstration kitchen, a beauty zone and a wellness studio. Fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruit and nuts are listed as separate categories.
The expo is aimed mainly at distributors, importers and retailers. Last year, the organiser says, participants held more than 4,200 pre-arranged meetings. A parallel conference is planned, with more than 20 sessions announced.
