What’s on

Day one opens with addresses by Turkish officials, including Vice President Cevdet Yılmaz, Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, Treasury and Finance Minister Mehmet Şimşek and Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır. Public sessions follow on Türkiye as a multi-regional actor, international law and the humanitarian collapse in Gaza, and the role of the United States in the international system.

Day two focuses on connectivity and security, with sessions on sea lanes, chokepoints and corridors, energy crises, artificial intelligence and the recovery of Middle Eastern economies after the wars. Alongside the public panels, the forum holds closed-door expert roundtables.

The forum website lists 123 speakers, among them former OECD Secretary-General Ángel Gurría, International Crisis Group President Comfort Ero, former South African Foreign Minister Naledi Pandor, UN Under-Secretary-General for Peace Operations Jean-Pierre Lacroix, former Moldovan Foreign Minister Nicu Popescu and Saudi Prince Turki Al-Faisal. Last year the forum drew more than 1,500 participants and almost 150 speakers from over 30 countries.
