The Saudi-led coalition fighting in Yemen said at least 73 people were injured in attacks on the cities of Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, Reuters reported, as carried by Khaleej Times. The Saudi energy ministry said several energy facilities in the south were hit, causing fires and temporarily halting some operations.
Houthi spokesman Yahya Saree claimed the group used ballistic missiles and drones against Aramco facilities in Abha, Najran and Jazan and an air base in Khamis Mushait, according to Al-Monitor. The claims have not been independently verified. Coalition spokesman Colonel Turki al-Malki called the escalation dangerous and vowed a firm response.
